Qs about undead persistence

I thought I was clear on this until someone queried it ingame; can a vampire who is alive in combat because of unded persistence play cards like disarm or taste of vitae, which are not usable by a vampire going into torpor.

From the General Rulings on this page:

Cards which are not usable by vampires going to Torpor only check to see if the vampire is currently going to torpor, not if the vampire will be going to Torpor later. E.g., A vampire with Undead Persistence can still play these types of cards. [LSJ 19970304]

I guess it's accurate since it's on the rulings pages here.
