bestow vigor...ally life/blood cost?

Can an ally with bestow vigor play a for card that has a blood cost? Search of the old newsgroup turned up nothing on this.

Nothing, since he's not an "acting vampire"?

Day Operation isn't a combat card. You can't play it with Bestow Vigor.

However, a Bima who plays a Day Operation will be sent to torpor. Allies who are sent to torpor burn instead.

(If the Bima played Daring the Dawn, it'd take agg damage - which, as an ally, it wouldn't handle any differently from normal damage. Though that would likely mean it burned due to lack of life.)
