Marie Faucigny and locations

Does Marie Faucigny pay 0 or 1 blood if she equips with an equipment card like "Catacombs". I ask as Catacombs is an equipment card that counts as a location once in play. I'm not sure when it switches from being equipment to a location so I'm not sure if she gets the reduced price or not.
