Ready vs Untapped was created by nekojosh
Last Saturday I was playing with some friend and one of them was not convinced with my explanation of what "ready" and "untapped" meant for a vampire. The issue came up due to me using Serenna the White's ability to reduce a bleed even when she was tapped.
Serenna the White

Salubri
Capacity: 8
Group: 6
Independent: Once each turn, if Serenna is ready, she may burn 1 blood to reduce a bleed against you by 2. Scarce.
It is to my understanding that a vampire is ready regardless of it being tapped or not since a ready vampire is any vampire which is on the ready region thus making it possible to use Serenna's ability even if she was tapped since the ability's only requirement is that the vampire to be ready.
So, in short, could she use her ability while tapped?

If your friends read the rulebook, they would understand the definition of ready and wouldn't have to ask you these questions. Because they would know.
I'd suggest that you read the rulebook so that when your friends who do not read the rulebook challenge you, that you can show them the section in the rulebook which permits you to play the game the way that you do.

Indeed, ready and untapped aren't synonymous.

Yeah I read the rules, and I showed them what they say but since all the book says about being ready is related to the ready region... well, they weren't sure and they tend to be stubborn so that's why I brought my question here.
