Trap

Hi guys, I'm confused on how this card works... can someone be kind enough to explain it to me. Thanks.

Combat

Only usable before range is determined on the first round of combat.
During the press step, if any Methuselah has played a card earlier in the current round or during the two previous rounds, the Trap automatically provides a press to continue (either combatant can press to end).

Before maneuvers you play the card. It will press to continue until three rounds go by with no methuselah playing a card. If anyone plays a card before three rounds have passed it starts over again. Whenever anyone plays a card it resets. The press is from the card not the vampire. It also allows an excuse to quote this :

Also note that the "(either combatant may press to end)" bit means that either combatants can play cards or use effects to press to end, not that Trap provides a built in press do end.

Just to be clear, Trap does not provide a press to end combat.
