Just would like to verify: cards which are unique; such as Fame, is/are controlled by the methuselah who played it for contestation purposes... now when the controller is ousted this card is burned according to:
9.1. Victory Points
When a Methuselah runs out of pool counters, she is ousted from the game. If you are ousted, all the cards you control are removed from the game. Any of your opponents' cards you control are returned to them at the end of the game. Any of your cards controlled by other Methuselahs remain in play as normal (see The Golden Rule of Card Ownership, sec. 1.3).
Correct, correct?

It's not about uniqueness, it's about card type. When a master card is on another card, it is controlled by the methuselah who played it. When a minion card is on another card, it is controlled by the controller of the card it is on.
Example:
A plays a Pulled Fangs and a Pentex Subversion on one of B's vampires. A is ousted. The Pentex goes because A still controls it, the Pulled Fangs stays because it is now B who controls it.
It also matters to determine who can block actions to get rid of cards. In the example above, if C wants to burn the Pentex, it is a
action against A so A can block. If C wants to burn the Pulled Fangs, it is a
action "against" B so A cannot block without Eagle Sight.

Except for Charnas the Imp, maybe some other post Sabbat examples I'm not familiar with... but he has addendum which allows the controller to move him to any other minion when the minion he's imping is burned.
It's good to know which cards go when an ousting happens... like the curse of nitocris and the society of leopold they are always controlled by the methuselah who played them, but they move around to others... contesting them becomes a viable option especially when on the verge of ousting the original methuselah

Society of Leopold, yes.
Curse of Nitocris, no.
Curse of Nitocris does not go on another card, so its controller is always the player who has it on his side of the table. Card text:

Master
Unique master.
Choose a Methuselah and put this card in play under the control of the chosen Methuselah. The controller of this card burns 1 pool during each of his or her untap phases. Each time a new Methuselah gets the Edge, the current controller of this card chooses any Methuselah, and that chosen Methuselah takes control of this card.
