Minion cards on a stolen vampire was created by Yo_
What happened when the owner is ousted ?
We have been confronted to this situation in our playgroup and our google-fu was not able to help...
Example :
Embrace with Camera Phone and J.S Simmons is stolen via From a Sinking Ship.
The owner of the embrace is ousted.
Do the equipment and retainer stay or leave with their owner?
It might be a dumb question but anyway thank you for your insight!

They stay.
Master cards on the minion are burned though.

... one of the fundamental mechanics of the game, so the question was never a dumb one.
The rulebook (it always helps to have one at hand when gaming) states the infos given by Izaak under 1.6.2 ("A master card in play is, by default, controlled by the Methuselah who played it") and 1.6.3 ("By default, a minion card in play is controlled by the controller of the minion it is on").

And the link between the rule you quote and the original question is in Section 9.1:
If you are ousted, all the cards you control are removed from the game.
