times Tournament rules - Game win scoring

So once again question from me. This time it is about official tournament rules and it was pointed out to me by friend in my playgroup.

3.7.1. Game Win Scoring

A player receives a Game Win at the end of a game in which they have received at least two (2) Victory Points and have more Victory Points than any other player in the game. (No game win is awarded in the case of ties.)

This means, that on official tournament, such as NC or qualifier, player which will kill only one metusaleah and then game times ous - receiving total of 1,5 VP, will not receive GW? Or am I mistaken as usual?

Thank you for clarifying.

That is correct. 1,5 VP can never give you a Game Win

Wow. Thank you very much. I was recently attending a tournament in Poland and I was playing entire time believing false assumption. I did even believe, that one of the players managed to get VP this way. Guess I would have to pay more attention next time. Even more because I am authority concerning rules and tournaments in our city. Lucky that this situation did not arised since I've assumed position of prince.

Thank you very much again.

Getting VP this way is OK, getting GW is not.
But I'm guessing you made a typo there...
