times [LSJ] Dodge vs. S:CE+effect

There still seems to be some debate regarding the Dodge vs S:CE+effect issue.

Searching on the googley, using 'author:lsj dodge catatonic fear', from 3/18/2002 and 3/28/2002 LSJ says no, the dodge does not stop the Catatonic Fear damage, and even cites "S:CE will prevent the dodge from resolving. [LSJ 25-SEP-1998]."

But, there is a 1/24/07 question where LSJ says yes, Dodge dodges the effects of Catatonic Fear; this answer is also given at 3/17/2007 and 3/23/2010 with the reasoning being "The dodge protects the dodger (and any non-retainer cards on him) from the effects of the opposing minion's strike."

So, was the 2007 answer just a fluke/mistake, or was it a new ruling?

Could we get a "final" clarification on this issue, please? Thanks.

Mylan won't die if he dodges and the opponent plays sup' Catatonic Fear.
In doubt, use LSJ's most recent answer (2007, 2010 over 2002). [LSJ 20100224]
