times Shadow Court Satyr and Ashes to Ashes

Hello!

I came to thinking what could be done with Shadow Court Satyr. Then I noticed Ashes to Ashes, played with basic thanatosis:

Shadow Court Satyr
Changeling with 3 life. 1 strength, 1 bleed.
When the Satyr enters play, you may put a combat card from your hand on him. Once each combat, the Satyr may use the ability of that card as if played from your hand. If the card requires a vampire (e.g., costs blood or requires a Discipline), he may use it as a vampire with the basic level of the Discipline (if any).

Ashes to Ashes
[for] Only usable by a vampire being burned; he or she is sent into torpor instead.
[thn] Prevent all damage. This vampire untaps and goes to torpor (ending combat).
[THN] As [thn] above, and this vampire gains 2 blood from the blood bank.

The satyr is not a vampire, so the second sentance doesn't really affect him? So he prevents all damage (which is a very, very poor wording in my opinion in the first place. All damage this round, strike phase, entire combat...?), but doesn't untap, and cannot go to torpor in the first place. Is this the correct interpretation?

It's not like I'd be using satyrs, at least in a long, long time, but it's a kinda fun idea. :)

The Satyr burns when the "go to torpor" effect is triggered. ( Rulebook 1.6.3 )

So he prevents all damage (which is a very, very poor wording in my opinion in the first place. All damage this round, strike phase, entire combat...?),

All the damage that is preventable by the minion playing the card when the card is played. There is no lingering effect on prevention cards, they are instantaneous (Apparition is different, because it allows prevention, it doesn't prevent).

I've been thinking of using Target Vitals and Saturday Night Specials in a SCS deck. I'd name the deck Saturday Night Satyr Special.
