Quick question on cat's guidance.
Using the superior for the intercept then playing the inferior to untap after combat is ok, due to the, play after combat if any, text, correct?

No, because a single vampire cannot play the same reaction card twice during an action, even if the effects are very different.
1.6.3.6: A minion cannot play the same reaction card more than once during a single action.
The "(play after combat, if any)" text simply tells you when to play it. It doesn't break this rule.

I thought the action would be considered over after combat... makes sense that the vampire is reacting to that same action so shouldn'T be able to..
thanks

Correct answer from jamesatzephyr.
@delangen: Similarly (Rulebook 1.6.3.2), if someone DI's your Freak Drive, you can't play another one. We're still in the action.

If the action would be over, you wouldn't be able to play any reactions.
