Hello again guys,

An anarch opposing Ferox ADV can play Diversion?

Diversion
Library
Requires a ready anarch.
Gain one additional strike.
Prevent up to 2 damage.
Strike: ranged. Steal 1 blood with an optional maneuver.


Ferox, The Rock Lord
Crypt
Advanced, Independent: Minions opposing Ferox in combat cannot play cards that require Necromancy or Thaumaturgy . He cannot commit diablerie. Flight .
Ferox gets +1 intercept when attempting to block (D) actions.

I would say that an anarch cannot use diversion for the :tha effect, but could for the others. The anarch multi cards are weird. I mean diversion can be used as a thaumuturgy card, but it can also be used as other disciplines. I cannot quote a rules reference to support this.

Only the Thaumaturgy level is prohibited.

When played, a split Discipline card counts as requiring the Discipline being used (for effects that enhance or restrict cards that require certain Disciplines). In the hand (or library or ash heap), the card can be considered to require either Discipline (for effects that retrieve cards that require certain Disciplines). [LSJ 20020510]

Correct answers from pretty much everyone here :)

Please note I recommend copy-pasting cardtexts from the cardlist to avoid issues such as the one in the original message (lack of discipline symbols, for instance)
