Abactor - Carlton van Wyk

Hello guys,

After successfully taking an Abactor action, and survived the Blood Hunt, can any Carlton van Wyk controller burn him at his/her discard phase to burn the minion that made the Abactor?

I think not, due to card text, unless Abactor constitutes diablerie ( not on card text, and did not find it anywhere ). Just want to make sure.

Gain 5 blood. After successful resolution, a referendum is called to call a blood hunt on this vampire (independent of the action, just as if he or she had committed diablerie).

Unique mortal with 2 life. 0 strength, 0 bleed.
Carlton can strike for 1R damage, and he may dodge as a strike once each combat. Carlton has +1 intercept when blocking vampires. During your discard phase, you may burn Carlton to burn a vampire who has committed diablerie since your last turn.

Seems pretty clear; blood hunt != diablerie — there's no diablerie, so you can't use his special.

It is irresistible. You must forgive me. The answer is buried within card text in a Valley Girl accent...

So does blood hunt equal diablerie?... as if!
