Gehenna Card Questions
1) Absimiliard's Army: As the ghoul allies are placed into play during your untap phase, are they subject to summoning sickness and unable to act that turn? Or may they bleed during the minion phase?
2) Veil of Darkness: If the original card being played is Obtenebration, and the revealed top card of the library ISN'T a master (thus no failure) does the acting vampire still play an additional two blood? Or is that penalty ONLY in the case of failure?
Thanks.

Absimiliard's Army
[Event] Event
Gehenna. Do not replace until a Methuselah is ousted.
Requires at least one other Gehenna card in play. During each Methuselah's untap phase, he or she may put the top card of his or her library in play. That card represents a nameless, textless ghoul ally with 2 life, 2 strength and 1 bleed. If the ally is burned, it is removed from the game. When a Methuselah is ousted, burn this card. Remove all such allies from the game when this card leaves play.
Veil of Darkness
[Event] Event
Gehenna. Do not replace as long as this card is in play.
Each turn, when a vampire plays his or her first card that turn that requires any Disciplines, that vampire's controller reveals the top card of his or her library (before drawing to replace). If it is a master card, the original card has no effect (no cost is paid), and in addition, if the original card required Obtenebration [obt] , the vampire burns 2 blood.
Actually, there is nothing called summoning sickness in VTES. The rulebook state the following :
To recruit an ally from your hand, play the card and tap the acting minion. If the action is successful, the ally is placed in your uncontrolled region, even though it is controlled, to indicate that it cannot act this turn (and the cost, if any, is paid). If the action is unsuccessful, the card is burned (see Resolve the Action, sec. 6.2.3). Only one ally card can be recruited per action. Note that allies brought into play by other means are able to act on the same turn, by default.
At the end of the turn, any allies that were placed in your uncontrolled region (to indicate that they cannot act) are moved to your ready region.
So yes, the ghoul from absimillard army can act the turn they are put in play because it is not "recruited" but "put in play"
ANd for veil of darkness, you burn blood only if the
