How ?

An ally can't pay blood and DT cost 1 blood so an ally can't play DT.

If you mean because he can play cards requiring obtenetration, delaying tactics does not require :obt:...

No.
Similarly:
Ossian cannot play Impundulu,
Gregory Winter cannot play Ghouled when recruiting Carlton,
Warghoul cannot play Channeling the Beast.

Allies can never play cards that cost blood, except for specific disciplines that might be allowed by the allys card text.

Allies can never play cards that cost blood, except for specific disciplines that might be allowed by the allys card text.


Shadow Court Satyr can use a disciplineless card as a vampire as if played from your hand, if it requires a vampire (e.g. costs blood). Unlikely to be a game-winning strategy, but potentially possible in draft.
