Vampire is rushing older vampire with fleetness sup.
Target plays wake + obedience (no block)
Is the cost of fleetnes paid (is fleetness successful)?
Fleetness
Type: Action
Requires: Celerity
Cost: 1 blood
+1 stealth action.
[cel]
Bleed.
[CEL]
Enter combat with a tapped minion. This acting vampire gets an optional maneuver during this combat.
Obedience
Type: Reaction
Requires: Dominate
Only usable when this reacting vampire is about to enter combat with an acting younger vampire.
[dom] Untap the acting vampire, do not tap this reacting vampire, and end the current action (and combat). The acting vampire cannot attempt the same action this turn.
[DOM] As above, but do not untap the acting vampire.

The action was successful - that's why you're entering combat. In order for you to be entering combat, you've already paid the cost.
