Put this card on a minion controlled by your prey and choose a ready Assamite you control. The chosen Assamite can enter combat with this minion as a +1 stealth action. If this minion would leave the ready region, you can burn this card to gain 3 pool.

Question: when you oust someone, can you burn the contract to gain 3 pool?

Note that, unlike Trophies, PC says nothing about burning, diablerie, combat, or D actions. It doesn't even check when they are actually gone. It checks before the event actually occurs, i.e. "would leave."

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to burn the card and gain the pool.

If the ready region ceases to exist can you really say that you are leaving it?

Yes you can burn it for the 3 pool.
