Transferring Weapons and Gift of Bellona

If I transfer a weapon from one minion to an acting minion with Valeran can the acting minion play Gift of Bellona?

Not at VAL since you need to equip from hand.

If you transfer a weapon and other equipment on the same action can you play it at inferior Valeran to untap?
