The fact that you can isn't generally that crucial, because an acting vampire in torpor can still play action modifiers (e.g. someone trying to leave torpor can play Lost in Crowds). However, if you want to pay the blood for Freak Drive before taking the damage from FoW, you can, which may be useful in situations where you have effects that trigger on burning, such as Soul Gem.

Yep. If you go to torpor at the end of the action (or as a result of combat because you were blocked), you can still unlock with freak drive and try to come out of torpor on your own.

It's crucial in this example because if I play freak drive before taking the agg damage I burn instead of going torpor and the soul gem saves the day. Thanks guys!
