Reduce a bleed / Telephatic Counter questions was created by Palamedes
I have some questions about reducing a bleed:
1. Can a bleed be reduced to negative value?
example:
Vamp A bleeds for 1;
Vamp B plays Telepathic Counter (SUP) to reduce the bleed by 2, making the bleed at -1;
2. If a bleed is reduced to negative value and a +bleed modifier is played after, does it simple increase that negative value?
example as above, and:
Vamp A plays Conditioning (SUP) making the final bleed at 2 (-1+3=2);
3. Since Telepathic Counter reduce a bleed "against you", does that means that a bleed have original value against other players or it is permanent reduced?
example as above, and:
Vamp B plays Telepathic Misdirection (SUP) to bounce the bleed to the pray. Now vamp A bleeds grandpray for 4 or 2?
4. What is exactly timing when a bleed can be reduced?
example:
Vamp A have Spying Mission, and bleeds for 1;
No block;
Bleed is successful and SM is triggered to make the final bleed at 3;
Can Vamp B at this time plays Telepathic Counter to reduce a bleed to 1?
Thanks.

Warning: Spoiler!
Telepathic Counter
Cardtype: Reaction
Reduce a bleed against you by 1.
Reduce a bleed against you by 2.
Telepathic Misdirection
Cardtype: Reaction
Cost: 1 blood
+1 intercept.
Only usable if a minion is bleeding you, after blocks are declined. Lock this reacting vampire. Change the target of the bleed to another Methuselah other than the acting minion's controller (that Methuselah can attempt to block).
Conditioning
Cardtype: Action Modifier
Cost: 1 blood
Only usable during a bleed action.
+2 bleed (limited).
+3 bleed (limited).
Spying Mission
Cardtype: Action Modifier
+1 stealth.
Only usable when a bleed would be successful. The bleed burns no pool; it is unsuccessful. Instead, put this card on the acting vampire. The next time this vampire would successfully bleed the same Methuselah, burn this card for +2 bleed.

See this
thread
for background.
Yes.1. Can a bleed be reduced to negative value?
Yes.2. If a bleed is reduced to negative value and a +bleed modifier is played after, does it simple increase that negative value?
Permanent. The "against you" is merely qualifying when the reduction can be played. Some can be played on any bleed, cf. Ignus Fatuus at CHI.3. Since Telepathic Counter reduce a bleed "against you", does that means that a bleed have original value against other players or it is permanent reduced?
In general, there is no restriction on when you can play it as long as you are being bled and have the impulse. That being said, Spying Mission is played when the bleed would be successful and that is after you can modify it with TC. At that point the window to play TC has passed and you're resolving the action.4. What is exactly timing when a bleed can be reduced?

Thanks. That's what I expected, except:
If playing two Telepathic Counters (with two minions) are playable on a bleed at 1 just to cycle the cards, why TC on the bleed at 0 or -X is not playable?
Or are you just talking about Spying Mission and Telepathic Counter interaction (which I understand now)?

Going to edit the original answer in case anyone comes looking to ensure that the correct comment is there.

Yeah, sorry, simply remove the >0 from that that statement. Not sure what my brain was doing there. I was probably thinking about needing a successful bleed for SM to work for the latter part of the answer.Thanks. That's what I expected, except:
