Fewer Blood?

Hello Everyone!

I’m a brand new player and trying to build my very own first deck and I have a rule question, one of many but I will start with this one.
A couple of cards both library and crypt have pay 1 fewer blood would this make 1 blood cards free??? It seems very powerful.

Yes. And indeed it can be powerful!

It is a very powerful ability to have on a crypt card for sure.

Since you just started, you haven't seen the deck named "Una Freakshow" which abused this very ability to the fullest before Una herself was nerfed; now her ability works only on combat cards and not on every card that requires fortitude. Having Freak Drive for free was not a balanced thing.
