Hi,
I am wondering if bleed reductions can be played after "would be succesful" bleed effects trigger (Dis Pater, Spying Mission).
The answer may seem obvious, but I'd rather get clarification on this.
Dis Pater
Unique.
Put this card in play. Once each action, if a Giovanni you control is about to successfully bleed your prey, you can remove seven cards in your ash heap from the game to give that action +1 bleed.

A reduction doesn't necessarily reduce the whole bleed (into oblivion)...
Example: Govern + Conditioning + WHATEVER vs Telepathtic Counter

Sure, but it was to point out it is too late. "Is about to" is the last stage before resolving the effect and the condition cannot be altered by other effects (you must play those effects before).A reduction doesn't necessarily reduce the whole bleed (into oblivion)...
