Automatic effects Confirmation needed (Flesh of Marble)

"Confirm" implies that the assertion is right. I don't think it's the right term to use when asking a question.
As it is, I cannot confirm something that is wrong.

I assume you mean you take a total of X damage at the same time (rather than 1, then later on, a new batch of damage).
When receiving damage, you can choose to prevent it or not. If you don't, the first damage is applied as usual, then the rest is automatically prevented by FoM.
Once FoM has kicked in, it's too late to play other means of prevention, since you cannot prevent damage that is already prevented.

Let's see a more detailled example. I think BloodArtist answered but I'm still not sure I have fully understood.

1- My vampire plays Flesh of Marble
2 -The oposing minion suffesfully inflict 1 damage to my minion during the initail Strike Resolution.
3 - The oposing minion uses an additional strike and try to inflict a new batch of damage to my vampire

Can my vampire use any other effect than Flesh of Marble to prevent that new batch of damage or not?

Yes. Then Flesh of Marble prevents the damage that have been left unprevented.
