file Blood Weakens + Rage of Apedemak

Hi!

We had several doubts the other day at a tournament regarding Rage of Apedemak and Blood Weakens.

The situation was as follows:

Blood Weakens was in play.

Vampire A attempts to enter combat with vampire B.
Player A (who controls vampire A) replaces the action card as it isn't a discipline card.
They enter combat successfully.

Vampire A plays Rage of Apedemak, and since it's a discipline card, he doesn't replace it. Due to the card effect, Player A's hand size becomes 8. As he only has 6 cards, he draws a card from the Library, as this is not a replacing effect.

Question 1: Is this correct? Or should he have kept his hand at only 6 cards despite his hand size being 8?

Combat continues until it ends. Player A doesn't play any more cards.

Combat ends and Player A still has 7 cards in hand, so RoA stops having an effect, and Player A's hand size becomes 7 again.

The action ends, and then Blood Weakens stops having an effect. Since Player A's hand size is 7, and he already has 7 cards in his hand, he doesn't replace any cards.

Question 2: Is this correct?

What would have happened if, at the end of the combat, Player A had only 4 cards in his hand?

Once RoA stops having an effect, his hand size goes back to 7.
The action ends and BW stops having an effect, so now he can replace, and he will draw 3 cards.

Is this correct?

Is there any difference from situation 2 (explained before question 2)?

Rage of Apedemak

Frenzy. Only usable before range is determined. A vampire can play only one Rage of Apedemak each combat.

[Animalism] or [Potence]
This combat, you get +1 hand size and this vampire's hand strikes inflict +1 damage.

[Superior Animalism] or [Superior Potence]
As above, but this vampire's hand strikes inflict +2 damage.

Blood Weakens

Gehenna. Do not replace until a vampire commits diablerie.
During an action, cards minions play requiring 1 or more Disciplines are not replaced until the end of that action or until a Methuselah's hand is empty (whichever comes first). Vampires who commit diablerie ignore this effect until a Gehenna event is played.

Thanks and regards!

He should have 7 cards in hand.
He has a hand size of 8, and the card that is not replaced is using one slot.

Combat continues until it ends. Player A doesn't play any more cards.

Combat ends and Player A still has 7 cards in hand, so RoA stops having an effect, and Player A's hand size becomes 7 again.

Correct. He should discard 1 card at the end of combat so he has 6 cards in hand (plus 1 DNR card counting against his hand size).

The action ends, and then Blood Weakens stops having an effect. Since Player A's hand size is 7, and he already has 7 cards in his hand, he doesn't replace any cards.
Question 2: Is this correct?

No, he should have 6 cards, then replace the card at the end of the action.

What would have happened if, at the end of the combat, Player A had only 4 cards in his hand?

4 cards because he played 3 more cards requiring Disciplines? It works the same: discard down first to 3 (because there are 4 cards waiting to be replaced), then replace 4 cards at the end of the action.
