Wow. I just had a MASSIVE reply to a post DUMPED after I hit submit because -- I'm assuming -- it had been longer than some set time. WTF, fix this crap.

I'll try to see where the post time out is set, but don't hold your hopes too high. The forum software is a complex piece of software that I'm not intimately familiar with.

If possible, a preview option for checking your reply proior to hitting the submit buton sure would be nice.
Kevin, I've had similar happen to me on other forums and one way to avoid the disaster is to copy the reply/post before hitting submit. If there's a problem you can paste your original reply to the new re-proting. Not the optimum solution, but a solution nonetheless.

There is a preview option. Not in the form of button familiar from other forums, but in the upper part of the board code there are two buttons "Preview Pane Below" and "Preview Pane Above" that show your message as displayed on the board.
