This will get really funny if the buyer pretends he had not seen the shipping cost and refuses to pay it. Ebay loves fee dodging...

I've been watching ebay for weeks trying to score one of these and I've decided to pay the $40 or so cost, but $40 shipping!

The same guy has another VTES card for sale and it has shipping of $2. Looks to me like someone is trying to pull $40 extra for the card.

It's not that. The guy is a local player here in Las Vegas and doesn't want to pay eBay a fee for a reserve auction. I just sold an Enkil Cog on BuyItNow for $50, so I don't think he's got anything to worry about, but pushing up shipping fees is a time-honored way of getting around Reserve-auction fees. The same guy has another VTES card for sale and it has shipping of $2. Ok, fee dodging. But still... $40 for shipping for an item that most likely won't sell for much more than that...
P.S. You can put that long list of stuff into your signature. (Profile > Edit > Update Your Profile > Forum > Your Board Signature)
