map-pin How to get the best results from a Trading Post post

Here are a few suggestions to help you get the most buck for your bang on this forum.

1.) Include the location of where your cards are. My recommendation is in your subject put your continent and country (or state if in the US), and in the body, towards the top, put the country/state again, and the largest major city. Since this is an international game, and shipping from one continent to another is really expensive no matter where you are, this will ensure those who are interested will look, and save others time and aggravation.

2.) Use tags in your subject: FS (For Sale) or WTS (Want to Sell), WTT (Want to Trade), WTB (Want to Buy), or Giveaway.

3.) Lists help move cards, both in trades and in sales. Always. If you just found your old box in your closet, and can't be bothered to list everything (I get it), then you need to know some things: cards with a "Jyhad" back, while yes those are "First Edition" cards, were in such over-supply at one point that booster boxes could be purchased for US$5. The cards are dirt common. If you have cards that actually say "Vampire the Eternal Struggle" on the backs, then do one last thing for the people who might be interested in your cards: look in the upper right hand corner of the cards. Are there any symbols there? If so, refer to this page:
boardgamegeek.com/wiki/page/Listing_of_card_sets_issued#
Please enumerate how many cards of each set you have. This will initiate a useful conversation about specific cards by set.

Here's a sample subject line:
Subject: WTS 35 Heirs to the Blood cards (Europe - Sweden)

Those were top of mind. Rest of community - agree? Suggestions for other tips? Moderator - would this be worth making "sticky" to reside at the top of the "Trading Post" forum?

Thanks,
Chris
