Origins 2019 Report

This is not very informative, certainly less so than 2018's post. Arguably, mostly whining about my foibles - that's what blogs are for, vraiment?

I feel rather differently about the two years. Maybe it's not having our own VTES room for 2019. Maybe it's that 2018 was novel in ways 2019 wasn't. Maybe it's that I was better prepared for 2018 from the standpoint of actually having built more decks and wasn't as unhealthy over the course of the events.

I just realized I forgot to mention one of my key takeaways from Origins 2019, one might say it rises to the level of an epiphany. I guess I have blog fodder for another post. VTES blog fodder even though I rarely play anymore.

Majority of players do not get GWs. In all but the tiniest of tournaments majority of players do not get to finals. Don't feel too bad about it.

Sorry I ruined your NAC Day 1 game 2. I guess I ruined mine too- womp womp.
