Buy the way - Bram mentioned that weenie, which was all the rage several years ago, are now mostly gone in his part of Europe. Do anybody know why?
Actually my own such deck, which was nearly undefeated earlier last several times failed spectacularly.

think it might have several reasons:
I think for a time ventrue anti grinder was really popular and the weenie ani was pretty good vs grinder and with that type of deck losing some popularity maybe more decks with ce are played?
also because i think nana revolt version gained popularity.
and as far as lackey goes: the combat from weenie ani works particularly well
vs non-combat / non-heavy decks and that environment has kinda disappeared.
never the less, if i see pooldor (marius) playing his weenie ani, he usually takes several vps or the table.
so i draw same conclusion as with ashur decks or any for that matter: the player
makes the deck.

1. They reprinted scourge of the enochians
2. Ally horde can be more effective for various reasons.
3. Because of ally horde, ancilla empowerment and anarchist uprising were played in greater numbers. What once was 1, is now 2-4.
4. Weenies don't have advantages other than speed and numbers imo.
5. Animalism is a mediocre combat module. Its ok for beating decks with no combat and no combat ends. Against other combat modules its not too great. Its nigh useless vs combat ends. So the only deck it is kinda beating is pure SB. And if SB is behind you, you lose to that too. In my local meta animalism is simply not good enough anymore.
Whenever trying to figure out "what is good", you must always compare it to the decks it is playing against. How does weenie animalism fare against those decks and why?
