or must stop, the question is there.

we are against the outright banishment of so-called "racist" cards.

Because precisely where to stop? today is this list and tomorrow you (those who claim these bans) or BCP will judge other cards outside of a psedo ethical charter and clean up, on what? vampires, rules of the game? where do you place the limit?

As it is, we French, refuse your banishments. We will not apply them during our national tournaments.

The publisher has currently banned the cards and said that they are looking into getting out replacements and such.

If you run tournaments that ignore the banned card list (partly or whole) then those run the risk of having the results of those tournaments nulled and voided.

I'm assuming you refer to the standard constructed tournaments.
So another thing that might happen is that the tournament format you used (Standard Constructed) would be, forcibly, changed to Limited. Which would present all kinds of ramifications regarding ranking and TWDA.

And let us inform the other CNs.

Sorry but this confused me, what is CN?

Cartoon Network,
People's Republic of China?

Hey, not a problem, I was just puzzled.

So CN = Coordinator Nationale
Duh! :D

As to where does it stop?
It has stopped here.
And if necessary some additional cards might also be banned.

No need to go to the slippery slope of "it will never end".

The point here is to prevent some new player showing up to tarbaby meta and wondering what kind of game vtes is. If you just rename them some asshole is for sure gonna use the original card as a proxy.

I really dont get the grievance here. Some cards that are basically not played were banned and somehow that hurts you. The company is just trying to be polite and give the game a chance to attract new players. New players are good.

Right. The company is acting like a company should and making decisions that are in its best interests. Taking action to ban cards that may be offensive to certain populations is a move that most normal people will either applaud or simply find not necessary/an overreaction. To go the other way and not ban the cards is to open the door to being considered a company with bigoted views via insensitively named cards. In terms of the optics of how the company conducts its business, the former move has no real downside, while the latter move could lead to a negative impact. This is why a lot of companies are making similar choices nowadays.
