As we all know, Black Chantry is launching a “reprint” of legacy assamites and quietus cards. I would like talk about some balance and text correction on those cards.
Draught of the Soul
Action Modifier / Combat
Only usable when this acting vampire burns another vampire.
[qui] This vampire gains 1 blood.
[aus][qui] This vampire gains 1 blood. Put this card on this vampire. The vampire with this card has +1 intercept.
[AUS][QUI] As [aus][qui] above, and this vampire gets +1 bleed when bleeding the controller of the burned vampire.
Please notice that Draught can only be playable when you are the acting minion. Why? We don’t know. That don’t make much sense for me. Why it is marked as a combo combat/action modifier card if you must be acting to play it? Why not allow for reacting or rushed vampires play it as a combat card? It is not as the game is gonna break or changed significantly (I’m looking at you, tariq eater of worlds).
Propose: Remove the “acting” from the requirements so you can play this card during a diablerie/burn action or as the result of any combat.
==============================================================
Kali's Fang, Equipment, 3 pool, Assamite
Unique melee weapon. Strength+1 aggravated damage each strike.
3 pool is simply too much. Why this don’t cost 2 pool, just like femur of toomler? Someone once told in VEKN that it’s because it was printed much before femur of toomler and they noticed it costed too much. The card is simply unplayable as it is now.
Propose: reduce it to 2 pool cost to make it at least playable.
==============================================================
Terrorists, Ally, 2 pool, Assamite
Mortal with 1 life. 2 strength, 1 bleed. Terrorists may take a +1 stealth action to go through your library, find a Bomb, and equip them with it. Pay the cost to equip as normal. Reshuffle your library afterwards.
Propose: Can we rephrase this to “+1 stealth action to search your library for a bomb and equip…” instead of “go throught….”.
==============================================================
Vascular Explosion, Combat, 2 blood, Quietus
[qui] Strike: 2 damage, 3 damage to an ally. Damage cannot be prevented.
[QUI] Strike: 3 damage, 4 damage to an ally. Damage cannot be prevented.
Exuding Blood, Combat, Quietus
[qui] Strike: 1R damage, only usable at long range. Damage cannot be prevented.
[QUI] Strike: 2R damage, only usable at long range. Damage cannot be prevented.
Blood Sweat, Combat, 1 blood, Quietus
[qui] Strike: 2R damage; only usable at long range. Damage cannot be prevented.
[QUI] Strike: 3R damage; only usable at long range. Damage cannot be prevented.
Why the text is “damage cannot be prevented” when so many cards use “unpreventable” or “this damage cannot be prevented” on their cards texts? I also found this confusing: If I play this with a carrion crows, does the damage from the carrion crows is also unpreventable? Damage cannot be prevented after all…. But until when? End of round? End of Combat?
Propose: Change all those to “This damage cannot be prevented”.
==============================================================
Retain the Quick Blood, Action
+1 stealth action.
[cel][qui] Put this card on the acting vampire. Blood this vampire spends to play cards that require Celerity [cel] or Quietus [qui] is placed on this card instead of the blood bank. During your unlock phase, move 1 blood from this card to this vampire.
[CEL][QUI] As above, but move 2 blood from this card to this vampire during your unlock phase.
This seems to be a forgettable benefical effect that happens on your unlock phase. It's mandatory. Why? The Rack and similar are being changed to may. The move effect should be optional.
Propose: Change to "may".

Agree with those suggestions and also can suggest to use new attach wording and replace "he or she" for "they/them".
Example:
Blood Tempering
+1 stealth action.
Put this card on an equipment. This melee weapon inflicts an additional damage each strike. The attached equipment prevents damage in combat, it can prevent an additional point. An equipment can have only one Blood Tempering.
As above, and unlock this acting vampire.
Immaculate Vitae
Only usable when a vampire controlled by another Methuselah successfully hunts.
Put this card on that vampire; the attached vampire cannot block this reacting vampire. Burn this card if that vampire goes into torpor.
As above, but the acting vampire does not gain blood from the current hunting action.
Erosion
+1 stealth action.
Put this card on a minion controlled by another Methuselah. That minion has a base strength of 0 and cannot use melee weapons; they may burn this card as a +1 stealth action.
As above, but the action to burn this card does not get +1 stealth.
Succulent Vitae
Only usable when a hunt action is successful. Attach this card on this acting vampire. When this vampire plays a card that requires Quietus [qui], they may burn this card to reduce the cost of that card by 1 blood.
As above, and gain an additional blood from this hunt action.

Agree with the revisions!
Draught of the Soul
"Why it is marked as a combo combat/action modifier card if you must be acting to play it?"
Hmmm, perhaps that way you can play it during combat and after combat?
(in case combat just finished and you drew it immediately after)

Draught of the Soul is playable as an Action Modifier to make it playable on a diablerie action. It is a standard template used on pretty much all cards that trigger on burning a vampire or on a diablerie.

Most of this cards are unplayable, so there are zero reasons to add minor alterations to them.
To make DtS usable in blocks is actually a way to make Tariq even more annoying. Diablerie is a stupid mechanic in the first place, cards which encourage it are "double stupid".

There is always reason to update template to current wording.
I'm not a fan of DtS buffs tho, and have to agree with you on this case.
On the other hand, 2 pool Kali's Fang would be playable.
Sabbat.Black Hand Shakar: Lech loathe ranged weapons. Once each action, he may burn 1 blood to become Camarilla Prince of Krakow until the end of the action.
