I think Kali's fang is fine for 3 pool, it just had to count as both melee weapon and hand strike and prevent one damage per combat.

By the way if I we really care about pressing balance changes for assamite cards (cost remains the same):
Baal's Bloody Talons - remove "Burn this weapon at the end of this round". Reference: Sword of the righteous which does the same + prevents one damage for a clan with bounce and still is not so good.
Blood Tempering - Change "Put this card on an equipment." for "Equip this vampire with equipment from your hand and put this card on it. Pay cost as normal". Remove "An equipment can have only one Blood Tempering." (it's not needed).
Dagon's Call
Only usable at close range before strikes are chosen. A vampire can play only one Dagon's Call each combat.
opposing minion takes 2 unpreventable environmental damage during the press step each round this combat
as above but 3 damage
Eruption of Vitae
Remove "Only usable at long range."
Remove "and randomly discard X cards"
HL: Judgement
Change "Lock" for "Choose"
Heartblood of the Clan
Make adding blood a +1 Stealth action
Khabar: Loyalty
Remove "younger"
Nest of Eagles
Just make it -3 to bleed.
Omael Kuman
Remove " burn 1 blood to"
Poison the Well of Life
