Rabbat's Proteges

yeah I like the concept, but I think the 8 Restorations might jam up your hand a little, for a 60 card deck. the feeding razor frees up more options on your turn when you freak drive.

maybe 1 Hidden Lurker just to scare the crap out of anyone who considers blocking? I know it's tempting to load up on too many of those, but I think the threat of being able to do it is far more beneficial than actually having one in hand.

I don't know. In a few dry runs it was obvious that Rabbat would be hovering at low blood until one of the blood-gain cards came around. That might be okay as long as I can play Grooming the Protege on the 5- and 6-caps. Take a look.

I built this deck and tried it out the other day (just because I have a ridiculous collection of Rabbat cards and wanted to put them to use). I used the first crypt you posted with the second version of the library. I also added in a few extra cards to go up to 66. one of the cards was Two Wrongs, it should've been AI instead.

I had a pretty good opening hand and was able to bring out a swarm of vampires very quickly. Even getting a few of them burned by my prey's akunanse combat wasn't too bad. Rabbat's pool gaining abilities were barely keeping me alive from the dominate bleed behind me. In the end I made a mistake and had Rabbat play a Kindred Intelligence to cycle a card rather than hunt. Just 1 more pool would've kept me alive for one more turn to score a VP. Lesson learned: ALWAYS HUNT.
again, I think a couple AIs and/or Two Wrongs would help this deck immensely.

other adjustments I made: swapped out Rolling with the Punches for Behind You, because I think it's so much better. added Shrecknet (free action!) and Secret Library of Alexandria (very helpful when your prey is too scared of Hidden Lurker to attempt to block) and 2 more Restorations.

So based on your (admittedly limited) experience, this would be a better version? Possibly with an added SchreckNET just because it's free?

Heidelberg Castle will let you use that Grooming blood another time.
I'd recommend it.

another thing I forgot to mention: put the Warsaw Station back in, it's definitely worth it. you'll get your camera phones and retainers in play faster, and you can always use it on Rabbat for extra pool-hunting. it'll easily pay for itself.

maybe remove 1 Grooming to make space for it, if you prefer to stay at 60 cards.
