Hi!
I just recently got a huge box of Obeah cards, including some I hadn't had before, like Vitae Block and five copies of Neutral Guard. The latter never got into the deck, since Serenna can't really make the best out of it.
In any case, we had a tournament (a huge success, I'll tell!) last Saturday, and I tried out some new tricks with Serenna. It didn't really work out too well, and I noticed Heaven's Gate is just way too situational to be effective enough. So I streamlined it a wee bit.
Previously I played Vampiric Disease and other blood-burning masters, but I think Hauntings work perfectly well alone, along with some combat and enough intercept to keep my prey (and predator) on their toes. The main problem here is the lack of ousting mechanisms. Inclusion of bleed warrants stealth for which I really have no space. Fames might work okay with Smiler, but I really can't tell. Confusions seem really out of place. Maybe make them permableed, like camera phones? Perhaps Codex of Edenic Groundkeepers? It might combo well with Spirit Marionette...
I usually host a table of 3-4 minions, and I seldom have much problems with surviving.

On first glance, I think Santaleous is way too big for this deck, how about replacing him with Hagar Stone? Also you might want to consider some Treat the Sick Mind, the superior effect of it is great defense with Serenna since she can use it on herself too. You might want to replace cofusions with gift of sleep which can be used as stealth on both obf and obe. Also switching couple random intercept reactions to melanges might give you some extra ousting power, and perhaps a pulse or two? Also, Keller, or Kalila, or perhaps both, would likely be better as Andre Le Roux, since your not really using either obf or dem that much.

Santaleous has prove AWESOME, just becaues of his abilities. He's a wee bit big, yeah, but his abilities warrant the cost, I've noticed. Not a star, obviously, but very good.
The same goes for Kalila (I forgot to include a copy of Arson, gotta fit that in) since she's good at getting Powerbase and Rack back if needed, and Keller. Keller once shut down an ally/weenie bleed deck down on his own, and made a Kiasyd bleeder's attempts redundant just by standing there. Both have excellent abilities.
LeRoux might be an excellent addition, however. I'm just so purebred that I'm cautious about adding anything that conflicts with the pure-faction theme.
I'll try to bring myself to adding him, though. He should be a good addition.
Other than that I've always been very proud of my crypt. All of them have great artwork to boot.
About Pulse: I just removed one, since it's so costly. I think Codex might work a wee bit better here. I think I'll add one...
The idea with Gifts of Sleep is valid too. The
version isn't bad either. Maybe having plenty of them isn't wrong.
Treat the Sick Mind is something I'd love to play, but for it to be effective I'd need to be untapped almost all the time, and it's very conditional. A nice idea though, which I dumped two years ago when I first started building the deck. I might give it another try though.
Cheers!
Anything else?

You need to be untapped to cancel a master with it, yes, but you can use it with a wake to cancel a card played during an action. Also, Serenna has animalism, so you might consider couple army of rats to help with the ousting power. Those old castles tend to be filled with rats anyway!

I disagree.
Signet of King Saul + Serenna The White + Neutral Guard = Amazing Un-blockable Actions That Win Games!
If you can find a Malkavian Antitribu that will fit your deck concept, he can even go fetch the Signet for her with Sibyl's Tongue .
Perhaps a Changeling Skin Mask to allow Serenna to blend in better with her friends?

Oh dear, the two cards that I don't own!
The Signet and Changeling Skin Mask, I mean.
Signet and Neutral Guard seems like an awesome thing to try out, though. It should be rather trivial to fetch it too with simple cards like Vast Wealth, so I don't even need to try and find ultra rare cards like Sibyl's Tongue.
Changeling Skin Mask is a fine idea, but that would make a different deck altogether. I did play some teaching her
and doing some wacky stuff (like bleeding) but I didn't go too far with that. After this version of more aggressive blood-denial I just might try to give a bleeder a go...
But yeah, if I ever get the Signet, going on a Freak Drive rampage to tool up with gadzillions of bleed bonuses and bleeding unblockable might be fun indeed! Thanks for the idea!
Any ideas how to make the deck better within its current theme? Blood denial and moderate table control are my aims at the moment. Vampiric Disease and and Society of Leopold caused a wee bit too much collateral damage for my taste, but then again against another wall I'm shaking without some masters to do some damage.
