Ahrimanes - Need Help Please

In short I need some constructive criticism so I know what direction to head in for the changes to make. For starters it is apparent I need more carrion crows. Secondly, I am sure someone will point out that I could include the Rack for Muricia. Third, and the most obvious one may be to include Deep Song. On the last note I am not necessarily convinced as the maneuvers on Nose of the House really help. Plus rushing at stealth helps. Probably wouldn't hurt to include a bow in here somewhere. I do question the Pack Alphas, but if they come up right putting out an unblocked Raven Spy or Murder of Crows is pretty hot. Plus it frees me from having to actually take the action.

Criticize away. I need this and several other decks worked over prior to Origins. And thanks in advance!

Would be nice if you posted cards to drop, add, etc. As for the cards you suggested. Abbot is nice and I thought about that one. Army of rats is another one. Heart of the City is in this deck currently. Charge of the Buffalo is alright, but being close could be bad so I just relegate to crows/bats. Throwing a few target vitals in might help though. Carlton could be nice, but am concerned about expending too much pool. Mylan could be decent to allow multiact. Ohoyo is too expensive to use. Kevlar Vest is an upgrade over Flack Jacket.

rodd, were you planning on farming off of your minions with the vessels? thats painfully high.

maybe one or two taunt the caged beast and/pr deep song.

run it against celerity guns to decide if 2 canine hordes are sufficient or if including drawing out the beast would be prudent.

seems a tad on the thin side for a wall deck, but if it flows right, its ok i guess.

i wouldn't use mylan. he can't untap anyone you have since muricia is your biggest vamp and she's @ 7cap, not above 7, and he's be a dodgy bleeder who can't block vamps.

if you were a hair better on pool management, i'd suggest one or the other of this clan's tasty werewolves, high top or ohoyo, but you're gonna be blocking to defend your pool as it is.

if you wan't more pool defense/bloat, powerbase barranquilla (not gonna lie, had to look it up to spell it) is pretty decent, since you can defend it and it doesn't run the risk of being stolen like powerbase monty.

I know it is not as efficient as PB: Montreal or PB: Barranquilla, but I also quite like PB: Chicago. You get one pool every two turns (or more, if you're willing to risk a bit or of you play it early enough) and it can't be stolen and, in the worst case, your pred usually spends one action per turn gaining pool and not hurting you.

Also, although rare, they are quite obtainable, I really like Blessing of the Beast. Those masters can really help decks that are more SPI-oriented and don't run many masters...

As already mentioned, Army of Rats (1-2) is a staple card, as is a single Owl Companion, especially since you plan to be in lots of combats (more Swiftnesses could help, too). You could cut down your retainers a bit, to like 4 Ravens and 2 Murders.

Do you own those Ahrimanes rares? All of the following cards are well worth including in any Ahrimanes deck: Engling Fury, Vulture's Buffet, Muricia's Call.
