Heya all

Iv been playing around with a Baali political deck for around a year or so, Im a huge fan of the new Baali vampires and even that the groups only have a few vampies they just fit together really well, imho.

I will gladly post the deck, as it is right now, at some point, but before I do ill like to hear if anyone else have been playing around with this sort of deck. Also if anyone have any good ideas, things to think about or just any kind of input at all. As for now, its not my deck but the idea ill like to hear feedback on, then we can talk about the actul deck later :-)

I played a Nergal Reckless Agitation deck for a while (2008) before the introduction of Heirs to the Blood. Every time I played it, my predator was playing some variant of Potence Grapple Rush. The take away for me was not to go there, at the time.

I suspect that my version of the deck could be significantly improved with Tend the Flock and perhaps the Anarch city titles, and of course, Villein instead of Minion Tap.

You can find quite a few decks combining Baali and voting, here:

I haven't actually played a "real" Baali votedeck yet, but I have seen a few over the past year and a half or so.

The idea seems pretty straigtforward: you bring out Annazir, who then Tends his Flock to get Arishat out. You then have 3 table votes plus Arishats cancel special. After Villeining around a bit and Tending more Flocks, Xeper should join the team bringing you up to 6 table votes plus Arishats cancel special. That plus access to Condemnation: Mute should be enough to have votelock on most tables. Proceed to play lots of Reckless Agitations, Stealth and Voter Caps. Mix in some Unleash Hell's Fury, some I am Legion and a Venefictus and you're good to go.

It's a pretty cool deck, no doubt, and can be devastating on the right tables. However, whenever I see someone playing it I'm like "ye or you could just take Marcus Vitel and Lucinde, build a very similar deck and get access to Dominate and Parity Shift.

That said, I did play a votedeck with Arishat and Hordes that didn't do exceptionally good, but was insanely fun to play. I'd basically spend 6 pool to get Arishat out and then used almost MPA to Tend the Flock to a Horde. The Hordes would bleed and get Camera Phones and whatnot and then Arishat called a My Kin Against the World to untap all the Hordes so I could do it all again. Path of Evil Revelations payed for the regular untap and if I didn't have one I'd just leave them untapped after My Kin. The cool thing about the Path is, is that you can play it in your masterphase and then use it immediately to get cheap untaps :). That's also why people tend to not remove it. I played tons of votepush to get the My Kin done (Bewitching, Perfect Paragon, Old Friends) and if I didn't have a votercap it kinda fell apart, but ye, that was a fun deck.

I've been playing and improving a Gr6 Baali vote for a while now.
I do not rely on Tend the Flock because there's no slot for them nor enough MPA, and they force you the get the vampires out in the right order.
I get them out manually (hopefully helped by a Dreams of the Sphinx), Villein them then refill them using Voter Captivation.
Arishat, Xeper and Annazir are usually enough to have the vote lock, but there's 3 Condemnation:Mute out of 75 cards just in case. I also play some Perfect Paragon for its versatility.
Votes are mainly Reckless and Neonate Breach because they are very effective, though the Reckless become useless in 1vs1.
Stealth consist mainly of Lost in Crowds and Swallowed by the Night (for the maneuver), and 2 Elder Impersonation. Combat is mainly Force of Personality (because it cycles well) and Staredown (because it's free).
Bleed defense is not strong (only Archon Investigation), but you should bloat enough using the Voter Cap and Villein to survive.

I've played a very successful Baali g5-6 vote deck, but my crypt also included Scout Youngwood. She usually was the third or fourth vamp being influenced, but she fills a hole in a crypt very nicely.

Indeed, I play her too.
