Announcement of 10 consecutive tournaments in Belgrade

Hello all,

Fallowing the ruling on www.vekn.net/forum/rules-questions/82824-non-vtes-ban-ruling-question.

We will be starting series of scheduled events with restricted access solely based on location Banishment.

Thus only selected 10 player will be participating.

This was made to demonstrate how this will disrupt the player standing in standard, and change the top 5 player ranking.

Fallowing this ruling we are under no sanctions for this and it does not brake set Code of Ethics and stated rules.

Thus here we go.

Standard Constructed
Format: Standard Constructed 3 rounds plus finals.
Proxy Cards: Allowed - printed out on standard printer paper and inserted over original Vtes card into opaque sleeves.
Decklists: Txt, VDB
Time limit: 2 hours for regular rounds, Finals - 2 hours +10 minutes for each ousted Metuselah(potential total of 2h 30mins).

What do you like to prove, man? I mean, make your tourneys, all fun to you guys, no prob. But on what quest are you with your location Banishment thing and disrupting the ranking? Weird, man, really.

Its a loophole i would like to fill.

interesting project. getting 10 selected players to play each sunday for 10 weeks straight is a feat in itself. grats

i dont think you will disrupt the top ranks too much. you only get 68 ranking points for a 10 player tournament +gw/vp score.

i think i already proved that our ranking system was never meant to be "fair" or overly competitive. its just some extra motivation for the players. at least that is my understanding. i dont need a ranking system to know that Milos could be world rank 1, if he played as much as i do...

Good to hear from you.

We do play almost every week, starting from 13 up to 22, just making use of it.

We did a rough math, so after 10 tournaments, one should be close if not number 1 with close to 1.900 points, starting from 0.

If i allow Milos to play, he needs only 400 points (two wins) to get to you this time .

Project it is, i do try my best.

The fair part is all tournaments are open, and we all got a shot, not like this example.
