Fee: 350 din. ~ 3 €
Standard Constructed
Rounds: 3 + Final
Time Limit: 2h
Proxies: Yes
Prizes: All participants got 3 badges with disciplines, 3 promo vampires and 1 keychain with the event logo. The winner got Ultra PRO plastic deckbox and 100 card sleeves.
The winner is Nikica Novakovic with 4 VP in finals. Congratulations!!!
The whole tournament was marked by the infernal vampires, since we had two Cybele, one The unnamed and one Giotto Verducci decks. A lot of Ashurs and Liquidations everywhere.
Final round report:
table order
1 - MMPA Girls - Nikola Obradovic
2 - Malgorzata/Lord Tremere/Mistress Fanchon - Nikica Novakovic
3 - Stanislava & friends - Stefan Ristic
4 - Giotto Verducci + Kaymakli Fragment bleed/vote - Predrag Savic
5 - MMPA Girls - Nikolaj Wendt
As the two almost identical MMPA decks sat next to each other, the players agreed on who would control what. Nikolaj will control Nana Buruku, and Nikola will control Cybele. Predrag had a very bad crypt draw, so he drew three more cards to Giotto.
Stefan saw this as an opportunity and went full steam ahead to bleed Predrag with Stanislava and Ingrid. But this was reckless, and left a lot of space for Nikica, so he ousted Stefan with one good bounce and massive bleed.
After the two MMPA players made a loose deal about the Ashur tablets and started to bloat, Nikica also made a loose deal with Predrag to bleed for only 1, as long as he was pushing forward. Predrag finally built his game and moved forward with strong bleed.
In defense Nikolaj influenced Aksinya Daclau and started bouncing to Nikola. To stop this, Nikola also influenced and contested Aksinya Daclau. In response, Nikolaj contests Cybele, and soon ousts Nikola.
Predrag presses hard, and in two turns brings Nikolaj from a lot to only 5 pool. That moment Nikica sees as a good opportunity and kills both opponents in two attempts.
Congratulations to Nikica Novakovic!
Personal note from Predrag Savic aka Palamedes / Abadroza:
"This is a great indicator of how contesting can be used for tactical purposes. BCP, please don't destroy it."

On the other hand, it seems like Nikica mainly won because of contest. This may or may not be a good thing. Was he first seed and decided to get behind the two contesting decks ?

This is definitely not the case. Yes, Nikica decided where he would sit, probably bearing in mind the possible contest, but his victory has very little to do with contesting. The real reason is a bad move of his prey Stefan, and a bad draw and slow start of his grandpray Predrag (me). Nikica made a deal with me (even though he could have killed me) to gain time, so he could grow further, while I do the hard work.
My prey Nikolaj had no pressure for a long time, and he was built very nicely, he didn't even need Cybele, so he held his pray Nikola on the edge. Nikola, according to his words, also had a bad draw, so he didn't put real pressure on Nikica. When the contests started, Nikica was already in a pretty good position.
And let's face it, his deck is very good, and well played.
Nikola's contest of Aksinya Daclau was purely tactical, to prevent further bleed bouncing to him. Also, Nikolaj's contest of Cybele was purely tactical, to cut further bloating and to be able to finish Nikola.

As I say in facebook group VTES Srbija we cannot talk here about tactic,we can talk about tactic only if Nikola or Nikolay won! what is tactic here? lose 2 vampires because of random factor?
We need to find rule who can help people who have same crypt(as is case here) not only same star vampires.
Nikica have only 3 vampires in whole crypt, what if someone have also this crypt? will Nikica and this player won or they get scenario Nikola and Nikolay?

This statement is false on its face because the two possible contesters played a portion of the game without contesting by agreeing who would get what vampires. According to the report even going so far as allowing each other to run Ashur sets. They could have continued going this route, but did not. A choice was made to start contesting. The fact that neither won is immaterial. As I say in facebook group VTES Srbija we cannot talk here about tactic,we can talk about tactic only if Nikola or Nikolay won! what is tactic here? lose 2 vampires because of random factor?
