It's intended to be a bit of defense early in the game, as well as encouragement to act prey-wards, and potentially devastating in the endgame. If it's too hand-jammy to be any good, it could be changed to

Deja Vu

Let's state the obvious : to use that card, you must use a chimestry / dementation crypt, so it's a card you create a deck for, and not a card you add to a deck.

Now, the first version seem outrageous, because a Freak drive that double as a Faerie Ward is, well, very very powerful.

The second one seem more reasonable, but it's still very cheap for what it do. Similar card tend to cost at least two blood and have a capacity requirement. This one allow Ghanesh to counter the next 6 bleed of an Inner Circle.

Also, it make you go forward but it's a very formidable defense if your prey is not too blocky. And it allow you to both use Kindred spirit and this card.

I think it need to be watered down quite a bit. But the idea of putting card into play as a reward for a successful action pretty good.

Not really no, unless they're bleeding backwards with Kinderd Spirits. :) I think you might be confusing Prey with Predator.

I think it's a cool concept, and the card's pretty well written. I'm more of a fan of the second version. Cool stuff.

To be precise, I didn't see the restriction to prey action only. Which cancel more or less everything I said.

In this light, the problem is that the card is not really worth the requirement, since your prey won't target you all that often. You may add Army of Rat and other card to incite your prey to target you, but that kind of stuff - and the blocky reaction to make the deck work if you don't draw your Deja Vu - force you to add a third discipline to the mix.

I hate being a bore, but " How does this card address a compelling game need?" (If any, I´m not sure it´s an absolute requirement, but it helps to know how you are thinking)
