file Extending the "Any" Grouping. Thoughts ?

12 Oct 2012 12:11 #38980 by Reyda
Nothing prevents future imbued to be printed with the "any" grouping though.

and I also always wondered why there was never a "promo" imbued with a special that can also benefit vampire decks (a bit like miss Tremblay) printed so far. Claudio severino is nice but very specific... :/

So any other thoughts on the non unique vampires becoming "any" grouping ?
I have the strange feeling that it can bring some fresh ideas to the now static metagame.
Beside this, it's not against the storyline ...

Dan Murdock should be group ANY

And that wouldn't even take an erratum since it's not written on the card :P

I'd be in favor of doing it for the Fidai, all of the Imbued, and Angelo. Nothing else, though! The Horde and Tupdogs might create too many problems elsewhere and the Aabbt Kindred really should stick with Nefertiti.

but, how could you be sure that Fida'i would cause no problem, but the Hordes or the grotesques would ?
Can you please explain me your rational argumentation about this ? :/

and for your information, the thread started with "non unique vampires".

Imbued are seldom played with vampires, so I can't see how the "any grouping" would benefit them, except it may help a weenie potence gr1-2 to have tremblay for extra bleed...

And for Angelo : I'd like to point that he is perfectly playble where he is, his grouping allowing him to be played with 3 different circles already. If you make him "any grouping", odds are he will not benefit blood brothers but merely become another crypt filler for CEL/FOR decks. Which would just trump the purpose of this "any grouping" change proposal for non-unique, i repeat, non-unique vampires.

The point is not " Let's make what I want and phoque the rest, and by the way I need angelo there".

It's a change in the game to say " Non unique vampires are thematically groupless so they can fit in other groupings and allow the blooming of new strategies".

Sorry if I look a little rude, I assure you that in real life I'm the coolest guy I know(TM) :silly:
