the player with all the tupdogs will still have all the tupdogs after you change the grouping rule. now he just gets even more options to play with, while the new player maybe gets a slight convenience with their small collection. the gap widens.

just to be honest : is it not the case already ?The player with the most cards has the best crypt and wins.
Let's change the sentence : the player with the most cards have the Ashur and the Cogs and wins.
The player with the most cards have the tupdogs you don't have, and wins.
I mean I can accept any argumentation but not this one
