Whoa!
Got to love superior Dominate -free Governs, Conditions and Deflections! And as long as you're untapped you can deflect for ever and ever.
The pain NEVER ends!

So Dominate is strong... but Thanatosis is HALF OFF.
Independent Futurist. Contrarian (titled, X votes where X is the number of votes as the acting minion.) Target Vitals is always the better combat card.

oh i forgot to mention the other condition to the format.
decks are constructed from random spares.
this format was developed by noobs for noobs.
and was rejected by this noob because this noob wanted to learn the real rules.
ehile at the same time i was trying to reject the grouping rule so i wouldnt have to run the duplicate tremere, even though that turns out to be ideal.

That sounds like a better way to make draft playable than the current draft effects. Two big advantages: one does not need to learn the cards again for draft, and it frees space on the cards.

Sealed deck, this would make a lot of sense, which is essentially what it sounds like the group is effectively doing. Draft, not so much. I'd just pick all of the most powerful discipline requiring cards every time that there isn't some limited bomb, making drafting a bore.
As for draft effects, I enjoyed drafting more when those didn't exist.
