perhaps my use of words (like draft) were poor.
the cards for each deck are dealt to the players.
no one gets to choose.
is this what a sealed deck can be taken to mean?

Well, it isn't a proper draft at that point, which is an improvement. But it is still essentially a lottery of who gets the useful discipline cards, and who gets stuck with the damaged fire sale chaff. To even remotely make it work you'd have to remove all the 4 star+ community rated cards at the start.
But hey, more people willing to give VTES a second look. Who am I to complain about new potential blood?

which ones from the above makes vtes simplified? IMO it just makes a game more confusing

a few people i know played a simplified format
vampires can play cards requiring disciplines they do not have.\
vampire with basic disciplines can use the superior effects.\\
having superior disciplines reduces the cost by 1.///
libraries and crypts are drafted from random cards.\\\\
which ones from the above makes vtes simplified? IMO it just makes a game more confusing
