Elotar, the premise of your post lays out a timeline of things that happened and compare it to VTES attendance. There is no reason to think that any particular event caused attendance to decline. Do you have some other information to back up your assertions that we don't know about? Is this yet another troll post?

Seconding this post here.
Statistics may show that there is a decline in attendance, but there's nothing to prove a relation between the events you listed and the attendance. I mean, you could just as well write that "Obama was president during this time" and claim that it had an effect on the attendance.
Statistics are only as good as the person interpreting them.

Brandon, intelligence is the ability to connect events and consequences. You can use other means to analyze "life" or exist like a flower with things "just happening" around, but I see nothing to discus in such worldview.
If you got something valuable to contribute, like other explanations to drop during gehenna and NoR releases, or peaks of tournament activity at the time when VtES was out of print or something else than we are ready to hear it.
If not, than your useless comments are actually a trolling here.

Younger generation just cant access game at it's present state.
Average age of players approaching 40 is obvious (for me) - they was introduced to the game when it wasn't overbloated with crap, after which they gradually add new things to "their understanding".
This way is closed now, so rare enthusiasts who manages to break trow the "wall" are just greatly outnumbered with people leaving.

Do not feed me then - go the f..k out of my threads.
Likes of you not only produce anything useful themselves but also spoil any attempts of others to find solutions to our game problems.
