In the combat section, maybe replace:

Note: The only cards that can be played during combat are combat cards.

A lot of OOT Master cards can be played in combat. It might be less misleading to word it that way. OOT Master that cannot be played in combat even have a card text specifying it (eg. Angel of Berlin)

Under the "Playing a card" section update the below

ADVANCED RULES

Some effects can cancel a card “as it is played.” These effects, as well as wake effects, are the only effects allowed during the “as played” time period of another card. Even drawing to replace cards, comes after this time period.

Under the Minion Cards section update the below to reflect the ruling .

Minion cards are cards that your vampires and allies (collectively referred to as “minions”) play.

I think that a rewording along this line needs to be more like "are cards that you play using your ...", with maybe a clarification that they are also considered played by the minion. Otherwise the distinction between master cards (which are also described as "cards you play") and minion cards becomes less clear.

I thought of wording it like below but didn´t, to try to keep the changes to a minimum.

Minion cards are cards that are considered to be played by both you, and your vampires and allies (collectively referred to as “minions”).

As who plays the different cards is described respectively I didn't think it would be confusing...i might be wrong.

Master Cards
Master cards are cards you play in your role as a Methuselah.

Minion Cards
Minion cards are cards that your vampires and allies (collectively referred to as “minions”) play.

Event Cards
Event cards are played to represent events that affect the World of Darkness as a whole. Once each discard phase, a Methuselah may use a discard phase action to put an event card in play.

I suggest the addition of a new section that covers the rules around cards/effects that "put X out of play" and later "return X to play"/"put X in to play".

e.g. Banishment (the cards on the minion are put out of play), Descent into Darkness

things it should cover:
  • cards that are out of play for other reasons than contesting do not contest
  • cards that are out of play because of contesting do contest
  • placing a minion out of play also affects all cards on the minion to be put out of play
  • placing other cards than a minion card out of play only affects the specific card(s)
  • returning cards to play do not trigger the cards text e.g. "as X enters play" doesn´t trigger
  • returning a minion to play also affects all cards on the minion to be returned to play
  • returning cards to play remember everything e.g. nr of counters, lost or gained titles, once per game usage, etc.
  • returning a card into play by player choice that would cause self contesting is prohibited
feel free to add or challenge the above.
