For the library part : are cards drawn from top of your library, or search in the library . Neither "top card" or "search your livbrary" working is used ?

Basically, we are choosing in the hand or we are searching simsheery

It should say: "search your hand, ash heap, and/or library for three cards and put them..."

OK, so, for the library part, it does mean a search in library, not pick the top card.
I assume a shuffle afterward.

Search is a defined keyword in the rulebook, page 16.

“Search”: Some effects have you search
your library or crypt. You do not have to
announce the card you are searching, and
searching can result in not finding the card.
If you search your library or crypt, you must
shuffle it afterwards.
