The acting vampire gains 2 blood regardless if successfull, but does the targeted vampire lose 1 or 2 blood from a superior Loki's Gift + Hospital Food combination ?

1 as it is not tied to the amount of hunt and instead is clearly stated by cardtext to be "burn 1 blood". See difference between Kyoko's special ability and Loki's Gift wording.

Etiquette dictates that it's the person asking the question that takes that time. The answer resides most of the time in the cardtext. It's not being snarky to ask for that.
