With the current definition of of the block definition window, are cards playable "after block resolution" explicitly played before cards playable "after action resolution"?
i.e. are the timing windows:
- block resolution
- after block resolution
- after action resolution
i.e. are the timing windows:
- block resolution
- after block resolution
- after action resolution

that doesnt answer the question, as it isn't about queued combats nor the conclusion of the block resolution window which extends to all combats of the action.

The diagram is relevant but confusing on that point, I've updated it.

No, there is no special priority. Sequencing rule applies. With the current definition of of the block definition window, are cards playable "after block resolution" explicitly played before cards playable "after action resolution"?

If Cat's Guidance ("after block resolution") is played in the same window as Freak Drive ("after action resolution"), does that mean that:
1. you can play "after action resolution" cards and effects before continuing the action, or
2. "after block resolution" cards and effects can be played both "after block resolution" but before "after action resolution" AND "after action resolution", or
3. you cannot play "after block resolution" cards and effects before action continues?

How would this work with cards like Form of Mist?
