Hunting the Beast - Undead Persistence
During combat, both vampire A and B become wounded. Vampire A plays inferior Undead Persistence.
Does vampire C get 2 blood?
Hunting the Beast
+1 stealth action.
- Auspex Ⓓ Enter combat with a vampire.
- Superior Auspex As above, and at the end of that combat, if this vampire is ready and the opposing vampire is not, add 2 blood to a Salubri in your uncontrolled region.
Undead Persistence
- Fortitude Only usable when this vampire should go into torpor. Instead, this vampire gets an optional press, will not go to torpor until combat ends but is still considered wounded and can be burned as normal. If three rounds of combat pass with no cards played, combat ends. This vampire is sent into torpor after combat.
- Superior Fortitude Prevent 2 damage.

If vampire A was woundead and not ready, vampire C will not get the 2 blood, even with vampire B not ready too
In the end of combat, even with undead persistance vampire A will be not ready, so no blood to C

A becomes not ready later - after the combat due to UP (This vampire is sent into torpor after combat).

[LSJ]Games of instinct + undead persistence

A vampire enters combat with another using "games of instinct". During combat he plays "undead persistence" at inferior to avoid going to torpor. He then sends opposing vampire to torpor, ending combat. Could he benefit from "games of instinct" refill effect before going to torpor himself? It seems both effects are programmed to the end of combat:
Games of instinct:"At the end of that combat, if only one combatant is ready, that ready vampire gains blood equal to the opposing vampire's capacity from the blood bank."
Undead persistence:"this vampire will not go into torpor until combat ends"

The persistent vampire is ready when combat ends, so can collect the payoff.

andThey have the same window, so acting player orders them.
That is, neither of the effects is "end combat and <blah>". Each one has a given
effect which, when resolved, sets up a later effect to happen after combat.
If "at the end of combat" and "after the end of combat" is the same timing window, rather than "at the end of combat" happening first, there could be knock-on effects to similar card interactions
Yawp Court
If the acting vampire is still ready at the end of combat, the Sabbat vampire takes 2 environmental damage and the referendum is conducted as normal.
Save Face
If the chosen combatant is still ready after the combat ends, he or she gains 1 blood from the blood bank. Only one Save Face may be played each combat.
