file Weenie !Salubri will burn you !!!

Well, in my latest plays with !SAlubri ( i am using Qawwiya and group 6), burning touch has proven invaluable.

I have also considered the angle of camera phones and bleed retainers and heidelberg, but i am reluctant to play heidelberg as i feel i need at least 3 to get them reliably, and am not sure of buffing up master section. Plus, i learned that burning touch can be very tough for allies to deal with (like carlton, or ponticulus, or other nuisances...). But maybe you are indeed right, and that permanents are in this deck much better than transients. A couple of camera phones and some bleed retainers would maybe add more ousting to the deck...

I am still on the rocks about Blessing of the Name. As good as it may be to me, i am not sure that the drawback is worth it, especially in a vulnerable deck like this one... I will have to try it out in practice, methinks, as i cannot theory enough around it. What are your experiences with it, Adonai?

I like the blessings. yes, your predator can wait it out,...but then you can play your next one. The only thing is that you have to have 2 useful actions to use the actionadvantage. getting bleedmods could do that. rush and bleed wouldnt be bad either though.

you certainly need more ouing teck though. the bleedretainers and stuff is prbably good. tension seems logic for you as well. and i still would add fame, even if your original plan is burning.

Well, since the plan is to burn, i am not sure that fame has a place... Also, i avoided the tension as i was fearing that i may lose pool of it also, since my vamps are smallish. Also, i am not sure about the amount of pool damage i could squeeze out of tension...

Sure, if you have another blessing in hand to restart the cycle, it is great. But, also, the second blessing can get blocked, leaving you in a very uncomfortable position... I will have to test them to make my judgement, for now i am on a 50-50 with them, unless somebody convinces me otherwise...

regarding fame: currenlty you need 3 or 4 actions to do the 4 pooldamage fame gives you. You can burn all his other vamps and just keep that famous one on a rope.

I like the way it looks. Your combat seems cohesive.

I would:
- ditch blessing
- add Abbot - it helps you protect your paths too
- add Freak Drive
- reduce Brother count and add a pair of Camera Phones. (Most of the time they'll be equivalent, except the phone is cheaper and less fragile.)
- add another Hungry Coyote - your combat is spendy, even with the paths.
- add a few more bounce cards and reduce the Hide the Heart count.

I would worry about not having a melee weapon when needed. That takes a lot of teeth out of your combat, and makes Sword a dead card. Some Weighted Walking Sticks to even things out would help.

Meat Hook doesn't help here either. The last thing you want is to Sword up a Meat Hook and have someone burn it with first strike - and Death Seeker doesn't help you prevent that. I'd consider replacements, perhaps Brass Knuckles or Gas-Powered Chainsaw.

You also don't do that well against combat permanents. A single .44 pretty much trumps all the combat you have. Not sure quite what to do about that one without spending many card slots on Unflinchings and Fake Outs - though more copies of Sense Death would help.

When I started playing Blessing of the Name in straightforward decks, I found I needed a lot of wakes. The primary effect of BotN is to move forward actions, potentially, if you play one every turn, you end up ahead on actions, but it's not normal to get one off every turn. The wakes cover the turn of vulnerability and go with the intercept bonus. You can, of course, run Change of Target.
